There is some truth in every myth.
The Nereidi’s myth has fascinated and seduced humanity for millennia.
Legends of lost sailors say that they have seen fierce and ethereal creatures appear silently by the Mediterranean coastline spinning, weaving, and singing.
Along the docks of the port, sailors would whisper with shy voices about their sightings.
Over time stories of marine nymphs have grown more frequent, especially in the Ligurian sea.
A young sailor aboard of his “gozzo” swears that he saw at 3:30 a.m. in front of the Bay of San Fruttuoso, four female figures, with non-human appearances, swimming, diving, appearing and disappearing between rocks and waves in some kind of magical sinuous dance.
As soon as they noticed the boat, they quickly submerged and disappeared between the waves. The boy tried to find them by canvassing the territory until dawn and finally managed to capture some images with his camera.
The Nereidi Journal will be the fashion cut to our project. The goal is to create an editorial mixing and scouting designers in order to give us the possibility to create OUR point of view of them.

The Talents section will be a collection of interviews and photos of all the designers, bringing out to light their personalities and, most importantly, their values as a green creative-producer.

In order to show how easy is to follow a green way of living we’ve decided to promote the creation of works of art, sending sustainable fabrics to some of the selected artists whom decided to COLLABORATE with us with their skills.
